Kundiman - Silent Sanctuary
I played this while playing solitaire (how very productive, I know) at Living Asia today, and dananot, asomnambulist and I couldn’t take it, so I didn’t finish the song. We thought we were going to cry, fuck. Ugh. This song is beautiful, and really really sad.
I love the strings, that’s why I wanted this Silent Sanc album so bad. Silent Sanc and Paramita are the only local bands I know of that use the violin family.
