Seeing how everyone, rich and poor, is coming together to help and make differences in this time of calamity. Seeing Filipinos still try and smile, trying to be happy, amidst the sad situations. Seeing people in the market wiping out isles of canned goods, bread, noodles, crackers to donate for the relief operations. Hearing of Filipinos who risked their lives saving others (Muelmar Magallanes, RIP. You have made me so amazed and proud), and the other rescue teams and military people who lost their lives as well.

Although there’s so much tragic losses and ruined lives, we know we can make it through this because we have something called Bayanihan, we’re Filipinos, we’re survivors. Everything, although maybe not now, but soon, will be okay. We will always be okay. And then eventually, we will get better and then things will be great again.
