Rules are not just there to keep people in line. Whether it’s in traffic or in the classroom or in the office or in the government or wherever, rules are primarily there to keep us safe. Rules are supposed to protect us. I know our government doesn’t follow them either, but are we to follow suit just because of that?
If you think about it, it’s not really the act itself of breaking the rules that causes society to deteriorate. It’s the attitude behind it. Our nation is in big trouble and we keep saying we need all the help we can get, but are we even helping ourselves?
So I challenge you: are you going to be part of the solution or the problem?
