TIME MAGAZINE: Election-related slaughter in the southern Philippines kills at least 46 - including women and 20 journalists

This story sickens me and most - if not all - Filipinos.  The New York Times points out that the administration of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo may have put the guns in the hands of the killers in the first place.  Either way, it appears that the government knows exactly who committed these atrocities, and they must be brought to justice.
