From exposing top politicians’ shenanigans to white slaveries, illegal recruitments, and other illegalities., Ben Tulfo has grown immensely to take his tough act seriuosly to deliver public service with a punch, good for him, on national TV where the public will be informed. Ben, brother of veteran broadcaster Ramon Tulfo and Erwin Tulfo, is UNTV37’s Mr. Action Man who unlike other crime investigating and solving program hosts, shuns away dramatization for actual raids and operations. These and more, the Star Awards for Television noticed and so awarded Ben as Best Public Service Program Host in 2005 for his very controverial program Bitag. He also writes his “Bahala si Bitag” column for the Pilipino Star Ngayon, a sister tabloid of the Philippine Star. Bahala si Bitag dazzles and surmised to say, surprises both the audience and especially, his target.
